The Famous NMLRC YEAR BOOK

The National Miniature Lop Rabbit Club Year Book is fast becoming the highlight of every ones year and something to look forward to and find out who has been doing what and what with in the previous year. Some confusion has surrounded the year book with it being produced in January but being for the previous year. This is because it is the round up of all the happenings within the club for the previous year. If it was for the year it is issued in there would be no news!

Front Cover Feature

When the new year book editor took over a new concept was born for the front cover of each years book. The NMLRC runs a members points competition throughout the year to find the Exhibitor of the Year and apart from being named the NMLRC Exhibitor of the Year for winning the members points you now also win the feature cover to advertise this fact. The new scheme has meant increased entries at the shows with a lot more members showing and trying to win the points and get their animals featured on the cover. Long may this trend of increased entries and increased members showing continue.

Adverts and Articles always needed

As always with things like this, they are not fulfilled on their own and help is always needed to get these publications out to you. Everyone loves to get their year book but we often wonder how many people realize just how much hard work goes into producing one of these books. Our Editor does all the designing, art work and proof reading himself and this is a long and labour intensive task which would be made a lot easier if some thought was given well in advance to what you want to see in your year book. Adverts and articles are always very much appreciated and are a much needed contribution to get the year book off the ground. Without them there would be no year book. So this is a plea to all members and non members alike. We need your ideas. If you fancy writing something to be featured in one of our year books, please do get in touch. You can email the editor by clicking here and send on your thoughts and ideas. Every year we get adverts from people wanting to advertise their stud in the year book, but we could always do with more.

2010 Underway

The work has already started on the 2010 Year Book which is also our Anniversary Year year book so please be sure to get your articles, adverts etc in early as you would not want to be disappointed or miss out on this, the 2010 extraviganza.
